One More Year Hunting Club Rules

  1. No Bitching or complaining. You will not be responsible for ruining someone else’s time. If you have an issue or concerns bring it up and we can have discussion and work, it out.
  2. Protein is mandatory from February 1 to the end of September. Non team players will not be tolerated. Year round feeding is highly encouraged.
  3. Every member must share game camera pictures with MLD Committee for lease survey to turn into the timber company Biologist. This lease is MLD 3. This also allows us to create a hit list for that years Hunting Season.
  4. You must take one doe first before Harvest a buck.
  5. Spikes must be approved by MLD to be taken.
  6. All trophy bucks will be 5.5 or older and 9 point or better. Management bucks shall be 4.5 and 8 point or less
  7. Deer harvest will depend on survey. No members will suffer due to lack of participation from camera survey from every hunter.
  8. If a member deems a buck a Cull, bring it to upper management, MLD Committee and biologist attention to determine if should be taken out or not.
  9. All Jaw bones of deer taken must be removed from deer to turn into biologist, deer log must be filled out, and pictures taken.
  10. Members caught shooting a Deer that does not meet the standards or not on the hit list could result In membership terminated with no refunds.
  11. This is a family lease (Children 18 yrs. Or younger) and family members hunt off your membership along with your guest. Members are responsible for family members and guest and must be always accompanied by members. Guest are only allowed to harvest Does, Culls, Varmints and Hogs. No Trophy buck shall be taken by a guest.
  12. You get 2 spots per membership @ $ 2500.00. If a member buys 2 memberships for $5000.00 he or she gets 2 additional stands.
  13. The protein is individuals responsibility and must be kept up with from dates on rule #2. Protein percentage must be at least 16%.
  14. If a person does not want to participate in the community stand arrangements, that’s fine stay in your stands. If caught in anyone’s stands without permission will not be tolerated and you will be immediately removed with no refunds. Approval from stand owner must be gotten before hunting their stand.
  15. If you feel the need to get out of your stand early, please look for a route that may not disrupt another hunter’s hunt if all possible.   
  16. A deposit will be due Jan. 31st in the amount of $ 500.00 a member. If not paid then it is assumed the member is not returning and must have their stands removed by March 1st. If stands are not removed by then they will become property of one more year hunting club. The renewal dues are to be paid in full by April 1st if not paid you will have 30 days to remove property or it becomes property of One more year hunting club. We as a board will not beg you to pay, we are all grown so make a note of these dates.
  17. If you are not an ethical hunter, have common sense, and cannot respect other people than maybe this is not the lease for you.
  18. No stand is to be within 400 yards of another member no exceptions!!
  19. Stand locations will need approval from stand committee before settling on location.
  20. Any moving stands during season is not allowed. Labor Day weekend everything has to be in place.
  21. Absolutely no more than 2 stands per paid dues is allowed, if caught with more you will be removed from property with out refunds of any payments made.
  22. NO PINE TREES CAN OR WILL BE DESTROYED BY ANY MEANS. DISTROYING TIMBER COMPANY LAND OR TREES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
  23. Everyone must obey all local, state and federal laws.
  24. Use your common sense, any violation of the rules listed above is subject to disciplinary action including immediate removal with no refunds.
  25. Our goal is to grow big deer and have a good time.
